Postdoc Dave Toews and lab alum Dr. Andrea Townsend (now a professor at Hamilton College) both gave plenary talks at Massachusetts Audubon “Birders” meeting in Boston this past weekend. The theme of this year was “warblers” and Dave discussed his research on hybridization in yellow-rumped as well as golden-winged and blue-winged warblers. Andrea discussed her research on how climate change may influence breeding of black-throated blue warblers. The meeting was a great opportunity to share our science with the birding community and also indulge in lots pictures of colorful wood warblers!
