This has been a very, very good day for three of our lab alumni:
PhD alumnus Dan Rabosky, now an assistant professor at Michigan, has been named one of this year’s 18 Packard Fellows, a truly significant (and well deserved) honor! More information here.
Undergrad alumni Mike Harvey and Glenn Seeholzer, both now PhD students at LSU, were part of the four-person team in Peru that just set the all-time world record for the greatest number of bird species seen in a 24-hour period. Their tally of 354 species far exceeds the old record, which has stood for several decades. More information here.
