Nick wins a Cornell-wide teaching award!

Congratulations to Nick Mason for being recognized as a recipient of the Stephen and Margaret Russell Distinguished Teaching Award from the College of Arts and Sciences. This award celebrates those “who have demonstrated their devotion to teaching, where teaching is understood to include classroom presence, preparation and administration, student counseling (including general advising of students formally assigned, but not necessarily enrolled in the recipients’ course), development of new courses and new methods of student instruction.” Nick’s contributions to undergraduate education have spanned his entire time at Cornell and have included his development and leading of a number of special WIM and FWS courses in addition to more typical TAships.
